Funimation announced this morning that its dubs for the upcoming anime series “Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku” and “Attack on Titan” will feature English voice actors.
The announcement was first made by the company in an official announcement.
“The anime series ‘Dragon BallZ: The Legendary Super Saiyan’ will feature an English voice cast,” the company said.
“In addition, a brand-new anime series, ‘Attack on Titans,’ will be released in English beginning this year.
Our goal is to create a consistent, diverse and entertaining series that is accessible for all fans of anime, video games and all types of entertainment.”
“Attack On Titan,” which will feature the voices of Masaki Yuasa, David Hayter, and Kazuki Tachibana, will be the second animated series from Funimation to feature a Japanese voice cast.
The company announced in January that it will also dub the upcoming animated adaptation of the Japanese manga series “Sakurasou no Kizuna,” a story by manga artist Kazuya Yamazaki.
Funimation and Funizomedia, the publisher of the manga, will also be dubbing the series.
The two companies also announced that “Attack ON Titan” and the Japanese dub of “Sekai no Monogatari” will be simulcast on Crunchyroll, Crunchyview, and Funyuu, respectively.
The simulcast will be a three-part event.
“Attack OF Titans” will begin streaming in its original Japanese on January 28.
The second part of the simulcast, “Attack of Titans 2” on January 29, will air on Crunchytv.
The third part of “Attack Titans 2,” “Attack” on February 1, and “Titans of the End” on March 5 will air in the same time slots as “Attack.”
